About

After working for 19 years as a forester for a consulting company, Ed decided to start his own company – Cascade Forest Management – in 2009. Ed uses not only his education and 33 years of consulting experience, but he also draws from 4 seasons fighting wildfires as well as several years of timber harvesting in the Northeastern U. S. as well as here in the Pacific Northwest. Drawing from this experience, Ed can help develop a plan for your forestland that focuses on your objectives while minimizing logging costs by considering the operational challenges of individual properties. And, he can provide information on potential hazards and mitigation measures for differing properties.

Although located in Kalama, Ed has assisted landowners from the Columbia River to Pierce County as well as from Klickitat County to the coast.

Cascade Forest Management’s professional staff can assist you with a wide variety of forest management guidance and coordination.
