Cascade Forest Management was founded in 2009 by Ed Orcutt after 19 years of employment with another consulting forestry company. Low log prices and lack of forestry activity by many small landowners left little opportunity for work with his previous employer. Ed knew the only way to eke out a living as a forester was to start his own company so, he started Cascade Forest Management in July 2009.
The company is located in Kalama, WA but serves landowners in several counties in Washington.
